How important that is will differ from person to person.
Some people may value the convenience of a nearby office, particularly if they prefer face-to-face meetings or want a firm with a local presence. Others may place little or no importance on location and may be comfortable working with a firm remotely.
If location is important to you, you can choose to include it as part of your comparison. If location is not important to you, you can simply leave it out.

Where you choose to include location as a comparison factor, Choose My Lawyer uses this information to identify the nearest office location for each firm within your search results.
The nearest office information is then compared across firms within your search results to produce a relative location result. This allows you to understand how each firm's nearest office sits alongside other available options, rather than considering distance in isolation.
Location does not automatically make a firm better or worse. It simply provides an additional piece of information that may or may not be important to you.
