Choose My Lawyer
Transparency CentreWhole of market comparison

More choice should not mean more complexity.

We organise the whole market, so you don't have to.

Choose My Lawyer starts with the relevant regulated market and identifies firms that fall within the scope of the comparison.

To do this we use regulatory information and firm data from the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). The SRA is the regulator of solicitors and law firms run by solicitors in England and Wales. More information about the SRA can be found on its website.

This whole of market approach creates a more complete and consistent view of available firms, rather than only displaying a limited panel or pre-selected group.

More visibility does not mean more effort for you. Choose My Lawyer organises information in a structured way so you can compare firms more easily and move forward with greater confidence and less effort.

Whole of market does not mean every legal business in existence.

It means identifying firms within the relevant regulated market and within the scope of the platform. For the purposes of the pilot platform, this means law firms regulated by the SRA that provide conveyancing services within the West Midlands area.

As Choose My Lawyer expands into additional practice areas and services, that scope will continue to grow.
